We are assisting this client in their search for an Assistant General Counsel, reporting directly to the General Counsel. As the #2 attorney within the organization, you will be responsible for managing the affairs of a growing global legal department that encompasses: Commercial Contracts, Litigation, Intellectual Property, Compliance, Trade/Import/Export, Sales & Marketing Advisement and more.Specifically, you will be responsible for: Due diligence for mergers and acquisitions Review of complex commercial agreements, including those with governmental agencies and development partners in the medical device space Review of vendor and supply chain agreements Coordination of the work of staff and global counsel to ensure timely achievement of business objectives Advise sales, marketing and advertising on federal regulations regarding truth-in-advertising, anti-kickback and more Who we are looking for :
As the proper candidate for this Assistant General Counsel role, you will: Have a JD from a top Law School with a strong academic record Bar Admittance in CT, NY or be able to waive in to either state Have been actively involved in the practice of law for at least ten years Have significant in-house experience with a company in the pharmaceutical or medical device sector coupled with a strong law firm career Whats on offer :
On offer is a base salary between $160,000 and $200,000 with strong incentive-based bonus compensation and top benefits. |
