Support the analytical needs of an energy company using Business Objects tools, specifically the XI platform.
Design, create and maintain dashboards & reports by pulling data together from different sources within the companys internal business systems.
Work closely with internal business process owners to understand and solve their dashboard and reporting needs
 
Position Requirements:
Organized and detail-oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong SQL and relational database Oracle and Microsoft skills and experience
Thrives in a dynamic environment and works in an independent manner
Strong technical understanding of business intelligence tools along with demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Familiar with data warehousing concepts, star schemas, metadata, operational data stores and master data
Experience developing Business Objects Reports utilizing Crystal Report Designer , Web-Intelligence, Desktop-Intelligence and Universe Designer
Experience with Performance Management including dashboard manager, metrics, and analytics a plus
Experience in midstream gas industry with understanding of gas plant gathering contract, measurement and settlement processes a huge plus
 
Minimum Position Requirements:
Minimum three 3 years professional working experience with Business Objects tools Crystal, Web-Intelligence, Desktop-Intelligence, Universe, Performance Management
