CFO/Controller/Finance Manager
My client is a small technology company located in Cambridge. They have retained my firm to find them a stand alone CFO/Controller to help them double the company in revenue over the next 24-36 months and then assist them with the process of selling it. This is an incredible opportunity to work hand in hand with a dynamic CEO and senior management team.
This will be a soup to nuts accounting & finance role - encompassing everything from month end close and board presentations down through processing of payroll and setting up check runs.
In order to be considered for this position candidates must be able to quantify and give detailed examples of EACH of the following areas:

Complete responsibility for all facets of the accounting and financial operations of the company. This is unquestionably a hands on role with direct responsibility for every component of the accounting and finance department. Candidate will have access to one clerical/administrative employee as a resource for delegation of light tasks.

Key member of an executive management team

Experience in designing and implementing efficiencies within a small to mid sized company

Experience with bringing a company up to and through a sale

Additional criteria - any of these are strong plusses:

Government Contract experience (20% of revenue is from Government clients)

Public/Private accounting mix

CPA, MBA

Demonstrated ability to help in any way with business development/revenue growth
