Description Vertex is currently seeking a Corporate Attorney to support its Pre-Clinical and Clinical Development function.
The Corporate Attorney will draft and review various documents in connection with Phase I, II, and III U.S.-based and/or foreign clinical trials.
Representative documents include Informed Consent Forms, HIPAA authorization, clinical trial agreements, master services agreements with CROs, indemnification agreements, etc.
The Corporate Counsel will serve as a strong business partner to cross-functional clinical teams, as well as act in an advisory capacity to those internal clients.
The incumbent will also provide expert oversight and guidance to paralegals on an as-needed basis, and direct local counsel as required.
This position reports directly to the Senior Corporate Counsel.
Minimum Requirements J.D. required.
5+ years experience as a corporate attorney; 2+ years experience reviewing and negotiating contracts Healthcare, biotech or pharmaceutial experience a must in either a law firm or as in-house counsel.
The ideal candidate will also have clinical development experience.
