Corporate Communications Director (PR / Media Relations)

Our client has built a very successful portfolio of PR clients over the last 12 months and is now seeking an experienced PR Director / Corporate Communications Director / Media Relations Director to establish them as one of the leading PR agencies in the sector.

Position: PR & Communications Director
Location: Great Horwood (near Milton Keynes/Buckingham)
Salary: £45 to 60K + Car Allowance

You may have had some experience in the following roles: PR & Communications Director, PR Director, Communications Director, PR Manager, Communications Manager, Communications Director, Head of PR, Head of Communications, Head of Marketing, Marketing Communications Manager, Group PR Director, Group Communications Manager, Public Relations Director, Corporate Communications Director, Head of corporate communications, Head of Media Relations, Director of Public Affairs etc

CLIENT:
Our client offers marketing expertise exclusively to the leisure, hospitality and tourism sectors, with skills in a number of key areas including business and marketing strategy, PR, advertising and media relationships. They work with a wide variety of clients across B2C, B2B, contract caterers and public sector.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) A talented PR professional with in depth PR experience and expertise.
b) Experience of the leisure, hospitality and tourism industry/food industry with an excellent media related track record.
c) An excellent team player and fabulous mentor who ensures the team has a clear understanding of the PR vision.
d) Works effectively to deliver world class implementation in the market.
e) Happy working and delivering great results under pressure and/ or multi tasking.
f) Experience of working for an agency or similarly targeted multi client business

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Educated to degree level or equivalent.
b) A PR, marketing or business qualification or relevant experience.
c) An empathy and liking for trade and B2B PR.
d) Experience of working with external agencies
e) Experience of managing a companies PR programme/ media relations/ community/ internal and or investor relations.
f) Copy writing skills
