CamelBak Products, the originator and world leader in hands-free hydration systems, has an opening for a Director of Sales, Emerging Markets/New Channels. This position is responsible for leading sales growth and maintaining the profitability of emerging retail markets in North America.

We are seeking a sales professional with a proven track record who can become an immediate contributor and leader within the organization. The ideal candidate will understand how to position a premium product in new channels and will be a passionate product advocate, a team player, and great communicator. Primary responsibilities will include business development, account management, sales agency/broker management, and sales administration.

Primary Responsibilities:
Work with VP of Sales to conceive, develop and execute new channel development initiatives for CamelBak (including channel expansion, OEM partnerships, and licensing programs). Develop concise business plans in order to grow business within new, existing direct and indirect customers. Develop and maintain relationships with key buyers and sales agencies to understand current programmatic issues and future requirements. Hire and manage a national network of brokers to service the CamelBak business at natural food and premium grocery retailers. Work with the marketing and product development departments in the creation of products and programs (collateral, merchandising support, etc.) that support the organizations channel development strategy.

Additional Qualifications:
Understanding of forecasting, product planning, promotions, budgeting, and retail math. Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with the customer as well as develop strong, lasting relationships which ultimately lead to the development of new business. Strong overall computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Superior analytical skills and extensive knowledge of retail math Strong presentation skills; can harness company resources to deliver buttoned-up sales/product introductions Negotiation skills required
