Exchange server AdminExchange Server AdminType of Hire: CTH (Willing to go full-time after 3-6 months)

Location: Stamford, CTHourly Rate: NegotiableWe are looking for one Junior and one Senior Profile

Requirement#1Responcibilities:

Review the daily Exchange audit reports to verify Exchange database and disk space is in a healthy state. The backups of the Exchange environment will be verified.

Create new mailboxes and modifying existing mailboxes requested via helpdesk process

Provide Level 1 support for exchange and AD related queries in helpdesk

Create new Active Directory network accounts

Create or modify DNS entries

Work with other teams to migrate from MSExchange 2003 to MSExchange 2007

Monitor Exchange message queues

Monitor the MOM AD health check alerts

Verify end-to-end AD replication completion

Monitoring of all system components. (Server (Intel/Hp UX), Network devices, Storage, Tape libraries.)

Hardware and Software (OS) support of all servers Intel, Linux and HPUX. (Break fix, patches, upgrades ...etc)

The execution of UNIX and Intel system builds, installation of system in Data Center, and validation of all qualified equipment

Build physical/virtual servers as and when required

Skills:

Total 4 years of experience needed (Associate level)

2-3 years of Microsoft Windows 2003 experience

2-3 years of Microsoft Active Directory experience

Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007 experience is required

VMWARE OSX knowledge

Intermediate Network knowledge preferred

Basic Unix knowledge

BMC Magic helpdesk system knowledge is an added advantage

Configure/ add new routes in the WAN router and LAN routers

Should be willing to work in shifts

Skills

• 2 Years of total experience is required (PA Level person)

• 2 years of Microsoft Windows 2003

• 2 years of Microsoft Active Directory

• Knowledge about Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007

• Knowledge about VMWare OSX knowledge

• Network knowledge is a plus

• Cisco routers and switches knowledge is also a plus

• Prior helpdesk experience also preferredMicrosoft Windows 2003, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare,,
