We would like to hire one (1) new staff who has a minimum of 10 years experience in the international trading of chemicals, and has required knowledge with regard to international trading, handing container based import/export arrangements, calculating freight or other costs for import/export, import/export regulations, and customer service background for trouble shooting of deliveries. This new staff will be required not only to handle daily transactions but also to manage and improve the current delivery scheme to be efficient and easily controlled by Sales Manager.
ACCOUNTABILITIES Describe each essential accountability (duty, responsibility, major task) of the job. Provide the percentage of time the incumbent typically spends in each. For clarity, describe not only what is done but where appropriate how so that complexity and level of responsibility can be determined.
(1) Customer Service (15%)
- Receipt of orders and acceptance of orders
- Control order logs
- Negotiation with customer regarding delivery issues.
- Check and report the customers payment situation
(2) Coordinate Import / Export Deliveries.(20%)
- Monitor order situation in addition to scheduling shipping and coordinating delivery.
- Give instructions and corporate with other sales support staff to arrange the delivery.
- Negotiation with forwarders and shipping companies.
(3) Delivery cost control (15%)
- Obtain delivery costs from shipping companies or forwarders
- Calculate cost of delivery
(4) Comply with the Trade Regulation (20%)
- Check and observe the trade regulations
- Advise and order shipping company, overseas and domestic vendors, about regulation
- Report of Trade regulation issues (including Internal)
(5) Handle L/C and shipments (15%)
- Make shipping arrangements, handle L/Cs and insure required regulations are followed, maintain close communication between vendors and customers to meet their requirement.
(6) Report to Sales Manager, with regard to order logs, delivery costs, sales situation and regulatory issues (15%)

Coordination and control of shipment process, payment collection; supervise 2-3 Sales Support Staff.

- Keep communication with MC/TOK, HKG, SSL, RYD, SIN, and DUB for PVC business, especially delivery control.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES List the minimum skills, knowledge, prior experience,
Education needed to meet performance expectations for the accountabilities listed above.
1. International trade delivery experience for chemical products for container base delivery, in a freight forwarder or shipping company.
2. Good communication skill with customers / vendors.
3. Working knowledge or L/Cs, freight costs (including inland), regulations and logistics.
4. Capable of preparing cost estimations and handling negotiations.
5. Must be able to make independent decisions in order to resolve problems regarding deliveries.
6. Must have high intermediate or advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be capable of creating advanced Excel spreadsheets.
7. Leadership to instruct other sales support staffs
