Responsible for managing primary market research execution. Work closely with Vertical Marketing, Category Marketing, and Sales to establish and administer primary market research planning, execution, assessment and communication process.

* Establish and institutionalize process for defining, conducting, analyzing and communicating customer influencing research.

* Effectively communicate with stakeholders to understand and document research objectives.

* Facilitate the selection of appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques to meet business objective.

* Help design qualitative and quantitative executable and cost effective research plans.

* Develops or assists in the development of the appropriate research instrument.

* Help devise research questionnaires and moderator guides.

* Works closely with vendors or market research executors to oversee field work and ensure the successful execution of all customer influencer research.

* Review & interpret collected data, author reports and make business-oriented recommendations to business stakeholders.

* Collaborate with Vertical Marketing, Category Marketing, Sales Leadership and other business stakeholders to understand individual and aligned business objectives and those needed primary market research.

* Develop and manage database to effectively gather, store and share PMR information.

* Develop process for gathering, defining, prioritizing, budgeting and managing all primary research requests across the organization.

* Effectively indentify and manage all third party information source relationships and contracts.

Education Standard:Bachelor's degree

Education Type:business, mathematics, or the sciences

* Expertise in primary market research in $1B+ organizations.

* Sound of understanding of primary market research design, tools and methods.

* Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies.

* Knowledge of value stream mapping and Lean Six Sigma techniques.

* Previous experience or exposure to gathering, interpreting, and communication of customer influencer specific information.

* Strong inquisitive process orientation and cause & effect relationship skills.

* Exceptional individual and group dialog facilitation skills.

* Exceptional written and oral communication abilities across functions.

* Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling and analysis

* Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and SPSS/SAS

* 5+ years experience within the custom Market Research industry including; primary market research design, business analysis, voice of customer interviewing and third party research management.

* 1 to 3 years of industry/sector experience

* Bachelor's degree.
