Description Series Overview: Employees in this series are responsible for executing projects and conducting experiments in Operations/R&D Departments or Manufacturing environment as assigned.
Job Description: Employees in positions allocated to this level compute, analyze, assemble and input data.
They receive work assignments with practical applications for skill development purposes and work under general supervision.
Primary Responsibilities: Provide support to the Engineering Department in planning and executing capital projects Assist Engineers with process and quality data entry into spreadsheets Monitor experiments at the pilot plant Perform independent project assignments under guidance Compose experimental outlines and reports Assist higher level staff in completion of more difficult operations or special projects Utilize given resources, judgment and experience to recommend upgrades to procedures Research and evaluate information and make recommendations May require travel, extended work hours and shift work Perform other duties as necessary
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College, undergraduate Engineering degree program.
Candidates must have achieved Sophomore, Junior or Senior level credits with curriculum focus in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
GPA of 2.5 minimum on 4.0 scale.
The positions will involve a 9-12 month duration and full-time work is preferred.
