Public Relations Intern

Will create a public relations plan that will include:

  1. Announcing of speaking engagements
  2. Acquiring speaking engagements
  3. Locating free radio, television, and newspaper spots
  4. Getting articles published
  5. Creating e-mail newsletters for clients
  6. Thinking of other creative ways to bring in business without paid advertising
  7. Developing a press kit
  8. PowerPoint presentation development
  9. Corporate identity development (Branding)
  10. Assistance with PR campaign for book (due out in early summer '09)

Job requirements: Preferably a Public Relations student or MBA student in marketing

Salary information: Work towards course credit with possible bonus based on amount of business that is brought in
