The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing various types of diagnostic x-ray procedures. S/he adjusts x-ray equipment settings and determines proper voltage and exposure. IP, OP, Emergency Room, portable and OR assignments as needed.
[Minimum education]
Graduate of accredited School of Radiology required.
[Desired education]
Associates of Bachelors in Health Related field.
[Minimum work experience]
Three years as a practicing X Ray Technologist in a hospital / trauma setting.
[Desired work experience]
Five years or more in a hospital trauma environment.
[Required licenses/certifications]
NJDEP license required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
