Description JOB SUMMARY
Essential functions of the position. The Senior Analyst, Credit Policy is responsible to enhance credit policy and application decision management strategies through development and implementation of data driven solutions to mitigate risk. This position is responsible to create improvement in application decision through data collection, analysis and presentation of results. This includes the analysis of application trends, risk assessment, management reporting, financial/operational reporting and compliance reporting.
Secondary functions of the position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, design and analyze application credit trends and assess risk of those trends. Work with operations units to execute current and emerging business strategies. Provide recommendations for strategy and process improvement. Possess the ability to create written project plans to set expectations and gain operations agreement Present and communicate results of analysis in a clear and concise manner Develop and maintain various databases and reports required to perform the analysis required
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science or related experience. Masters degree preferred An in-depth understanding of statistics and its applications. Strong PC skills; Microsoft Access, Brio, SAS, SQL, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relational database concepts. KnowledgeStudio a plus. The ability to understand business objectives and their relationship to the importance of individual projects. The ability to comprehend instructions, create documentation on reporting and explain complex systems and data succinctly. Three (3) or more years of relevant experience including two (2) years of credit risk analysis, Automotive Finance industry preferred. |
