The Senior Manager, PET
(1) Responsible for developing and executing strategies for sourcing of commercially supplied bottles for the CCBSS members. This includes the current portfolio of commercially supplied bottles (primarily heatset and aseptic) as well as innovation and development of new products and PET packaging.
(2) Responsible for the managing the supplier relationship management (SRM) program. This includes monitoring and scoring supplier performance across CCBSS members, running SRM meetings with the designated suppliers, and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
(3) Responsibile for supporting sustainability and productivity initiatives which include Post Consumer Recycled Content, PlantPET, and light weighting initiatives for commercially supplied bottles.
(4) Responsible for managing the PET rebate program
Commercial Bottle and Preform Supply:
- Responsible for strategic procurement of Commercial Bottle and Perform Supply
- Work with supply chain and other appropriate CCBSS Member personnel to understand future requirements, growth, and shifts in strategy for commercial supply
- Develop and maintain strategies for sourcing of commercial bottle and perform supply including support of analysis for alternative supply options (i.e., self manufacture)
- Understand and ensure requirements for commercial supply are met through facilitating a forecast and planning process between CCBSS members and suppliers
- Provide reporting and documentation of costs to members
- Communicates all changes to commercial terms - primarily pricing - in an efficient manner
- Negotiate, establish and maintain contracts covering the purchase of commercial bottle and perform supply
- Responsible for supporting PET packaging innovation and new product development
- Participates in packaging innovation and commercialization teams
- Works with appropriate supply chain personnel to collect bottle and/or perform requirements and specifications needed to support the projects
- Develops and communicates a sourcing strategy for PET products needed to bring these projects to market
- Establishes and provides costs to input in business cases for these projects
- Performs sourcing and negotiations for projects being commercialized
- Negotiates and establishes contracts to cover terms and conditions ofprojects commercialized
Sustainability and Productivity Initiatives :
- Participates at varying levels, depending on the project requirements
- May lead or provide support on initiatives for reducing cost and/or supporting a sustainability objective
- Works across authorization, supply chain, innovation and commercialization teams to achieve desired goals of the project
Typical projects relate to recycled content in PET bottles, light weighting of commercially supplied bottles and preforms, and cost savings initiatives.
SRM Program :
- Responsible for managing Supplier Relationship Management program for PET related suppliers
- Participate in local partnership meetings to understand supplier performance at the local level
- Monitor supplier performance across CCBSS members and maintain score cards to measure their performance
- Holds two SRM review meetings with each participating suppliers to review scoring and develop action and/or improvement plans.
Rebate Program :
- Responsible managing and maintaining the PET rebate program
- Ensures an accurate, efficient process for PET related rebates
- Identifies and implements opportunities to improve program performance (i.e., cash flow, accuracy, etc.)
- Ensures program conformance to audit requirements
- Provides timely and accurate reporting information to members
EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED
Bachelors degree in engineering, business or equivalent;

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
* Six to ten years of related experience in beverage industry, PET industry, or related field.
* Knowledge of typical procurement policies, practices and procedures, procurement systems and supply chain management processes.
Experience / Education: - Required Education - Bachelor\'s degree in a business related major
- Desired Education Master\'s degree in a business administration or Supply Chain Management
- Ten years of managerial or professional level work experience in the area of distribution and logistics functions.
- Demonstrates knowledge andexperience working in the procurement, sales and supply chain environment
- Knowledge of procurement policies, practice and procedures, as well as e-business, procurement systems and supply chain management processes
- Proven expertise in leading paradigm-shifting negotiations, and developing strategic relationships within various organizations and companies
Technology Skills: - Required: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Desired: Proficient in Microsoft Access
- Experience in Supply Chain Optimization software, such as i2 Technologies, Mindflow and Combine Net
