Our client is seeking a Specialty Practice Coding Coordinator for Medical Records, Health Information Management. This is a permanent position located in Southern Maine. The Coordinator is needed for a 225+ bed Level II trauma center with over 250 physicians and will report directly to the Director of Health Information Management. As the Specialty Practice Coding Coordinator, you will work with the specialty physician coding staff of 35 to ensure accurate coding of ICD and CPT codes. You will review E/M and ensure proper procedures are applied. You will be responsible for training the team of Coders and providing physician education for outpatient and practice-based coding and appropriate documentation. You will be responsible for outpatient and physician coding reviews.

The compensation is $41K-$65K.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• CPC, RHIT, or RHIA
• 2 years of physician and specialty coding experience
• 2 years of previous management experience
• Acute Care hospital experience
