Based in the Watford / Reading area with regular travel around the North Thames Water Region this immediate contract position is for a Water Water Sampling Technician. The successful candidate will be required to travel between waste water treatment work sites to a pre defined schedule in order to take regulatory samples. Once taken the waste water samples will need to be suitably labelled and prepared then delivered to the Laboratory.

Suitable candidates should have a background in the UK water industry and ideally with direct experience of taking regulatory water samples. Candidates with experience of taking other water samples to pre-defined schedules or those with a scientific background will also be considered.

The contract would be for an initial period of 3 Months with the possibility for extension. In return my client is offering a competitive market rate and the use of a company van and fuel card for travel between sites. The position requires the successful candidate to work autonomously and as such they must be well organised and happy to work on their own. A UK driving free from points and convictions is essential for this position.
